Choose whether to use assisted features
Assisted Capture organization and Make Smaller are optional. If you do not want task text sent to the FirstNudge backend and OpenAI, do not start an assisted request. You can continue to create and edit tasks manually, search and filter your list, use the on-device Now recommendation, run focus sessions, schedule local reminders, and use simple recurrence.
Before an assisted request, review the text you are submitting and remove information that is not needed.
Control iPhone permissions
Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security, then review Microphone and Speech Recognition access for FirstNudge. If access is off, you can type tasks instead.
Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars to change FirstNudge access. Calendar-aware planning will be unavailable if access is off, but manual planning remains available.
Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → FirstNudge to turn notifications on or off and control previews, sounds, banners, and delivery behavior.
Delete local task data
Open the task in FirstNudge and choose Delete. Confirm the deletion when asked.
Delete FirstNudge from the device. This removes locally stored app data from that iPhone. Apple-managed device backups may retain app data and may restore it later according to your Apple backup settings. Manage those backups through Apple.
Deleting the app does not cancel FirstNudge Pro.
Request deletion of backend data
Email batchcompressvideos@gmail.com with the subject line FirstNudge Data Deletion Request.
In the email, state that you want backend data deleted. Because FirstNudge uses anonymous Firebase Authentication instead of conventional sign-up, we may ask for a pseudonymous installation, authentication, or request identifier to locate information associated with your app installation. Do not send task text, Apple Account credentials, passwords, or payment-card information.
After reasonably verifying the request, FirstNudge will delete or de-identify data it controls that can be linked to the provided identifier, subject to applicable law, security requirements, fraud prevention, active disputes, and technical limitations. This may include anonymous-authentication records, assisted-action quota records, recoverable request records, or other backend records associated with the identifier.
Service providers may retain limited information for their own documented security, legal, backup, or abuse-prevention periods. For example, OpenAI’s standard API documentation currently states that Responses API data may be retained for up to approximately 30 days in common configurations. FirstNudge cannot delete information that a provider no longer makes identifiable or retrievable to FirstNudge.
Request access or correction
Email batchcompressvideos@gmail.com with the subject line FirstNudge Privacy Request and describe the request. FirstNudge will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. If the requested backend record cannot reasonably be linked to the information or identifier you provide, we will explain that limitation.
Delete support communications
If you previously emailed support and want the support message deleted, email batchcompressvideos@gmail.com from the same address and identify the approximate date and subject of the message. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Manage or cancel FirstNudge Pro
Apple manages FirstNudge Pro purchases. Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FirstNudge to view, manage, or cancel the subscription. Deleting FirstNudge or requesting data deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
No advertising-data sale or sharing
The verified FirstNudge integration does not use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, sell personal information, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because those activities are not performed, there is no advertising sale/share opt-out switch to activate. If those practices change, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated and any legally required choices will be provided.
Questions or appeals
If you have a question about a completed privacy request or believe a request was denied incorrectly, reply to the decision email or contact batchcompressvideos@gmail.com with the subject line FirstNudge Privacy Review.
